Key Requirements

An Economic Operators Registration and Identification (EORI) number is required for both the exporter and importer. UK and EU EORI numbers are now separate post-Brexit.

Required Documents

  • EORI numbers (importer and exporter)
  • Commercial Invoice with commodity codes
  • Packing List
  • Certificate of Origin (for FTA claims)
  • Health/Phytosanitary Certificates (for SPS goods)
  • Customs declarations (completed by freight forwarder or customs broker)
